From January to February, the total value added of the industrial enterprises above designated size surged 11.4 percent, or fell 1.4 percentage points than that in December, 2011.
Analysis on different types of enterprises showed that, the year-on-year growth of the state-owned and state holding enterprises went up by 7.3 percent; collective enterprises, 9.9 percent; share-holding enterprises, 13.9 percent; and 5.0 percent growth for enterprises funded by foreign investors or investors from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan province.
The year-on-year growth of heavy industry was 10.9 percent, and 12.7 percent for the light industry.
Grouped by different sectors, all the 41 industrial divisions kept year-on-year growth. Of this total, the growth of textile industry was 14.1 percent; the manufacture of raw chemical materials and chemical products, up by 13.4 percent; the manufacture of non-metallic mineral products, up by 15.6 percent; the ferrous metal smelting and pressing, up by 8.4 percent; the manufacture of general machinery, 8.6 percent; the manufacture of car, 5.9 percent; the manufacture of railway, shipbuilding, aerospace and other transport equipment, 5.7 percent; the manufacture of electric machinery and equipment, 10.2 percent; the manufacture of communication equipment, computers and other electronic equipment, 10.9 percent; and the production and supply of electricity, gas and water, up 6.5 percent.
In terms of different regions, the added-value of eastern region increased 7.8 percent year-on-year; the central region went up by 17.6 percent; western region rose by 16.6 percent.
In terms of different products, of the total 471 products, the output of 317 products showed a year-on-year growth. Of this total, the output of electricity was 718.7 billion kilowatt-hours , up by 7.1 percent, daily output stood at 12.0 billion kilowatt-hours; that of pig iron was 139.29 million tons, up by 4.6 percent, daily output reached 2.32 million tons; that of cement was 215.88 million tons, up by 4.8 percent, daily output hit 3.6 million tons; that of crude oil was 76.54 million tons, up by 4.0 percent, daily output reached 1.28 million tons; that of ten kinds of nonferrous metals was 5.48 million tons, up by 8.4 percent, daily output grew to 91 thousand tons; that of ethylene was 2.64 million tons, up by 0.6 percent, daily output reached 44 thousand tons; that of motor vehicles was 3120 thousand sets, down by 1.8 percent, daily output topped 52 thousand sets; that of cars was 1596 thousand sets, down by 2.8 percent, daily output totaled 27 thousand sets.
The sales ratio of industrial products was 97.6 percent, or 0.2 percentage point lower than that in the same period of last year. The total export delivery value of industrial enterprises was 1448.0 billion yuan, up by 7.2 percent year-on-year.
