Import and Export Scales in May attained a new Record Monthly High

According to the customs statistics, from January to May, gross import and export value amounted 1510.89 billion USD, compared with the same time last year (similarly hereinafter) grew 7.7%.Of which, exports 774.4 billion USD, increased 8.7%; imports 736.49 billion USD, up by 6.7%. Accumulation trade surplus attained 37.91 billion USD. In May, the customs statistical data demonstrated that gross imports and exports achieved 343.58 billion USD, grew 14.1% year-on-year, and the amount has already refurbished the historical record in November last year. Of which, import and export scales in May attained a new record monthly high, exports attained 181.14 billion USD, increased 15.3%; imports attained 162.44 billion USD, up by 12.7%.
